ABOUT

NAUTILUS

Hi, I’m Michele. I have been in the Restoration Industry since 1990, 20 years as an owner of a Restoration company, and ten years in Commercial Restoration as a business development manager working both locally and nationally. There have been many lessons learned. I have successfully grown three companies into multi-million dollar enterprises.

I have worked on both sides, as a business owner and a sales professional. My passion is growing small businesses and helping them realize their dreams. I want to help you breed excellence in your company.

I don’t plan on regurgitating things that I learned from books about sales, they’re great, but anyone can read a book - I will suggest several. What I bring to the table is a real boots-on-the-ground experience. If you want to open more offices and grow your business, I will help you do just that. I will work side by side with you to help grow your business. I have done it all successfully. I will challenge you and hold you accountable. I will work in and on your business with the same dedication and hard work you do. I will hold myself accountable too. Your success is my business.

YOUR SUCCESS IS MY BUSINESS

My Why

I started my career in sales at the age of 18 (please don’t add up the years I really don’t want to know!) selling real estate. I realized I can be very successful just by doing the simple things that others would not. Fast forward to 1990, and we opened a restoration company in Tampa. Restoration was not my dream, but I loved training the sales staff and helping grow the business with my marketing and sales skills. I found my love for the business around 2009 when I got a call from an adjuster with a problematic client. There was a little old man with an extensive vocabulary that was unhappy and no one could calm him down. My crew went out to his home and reported that he was enraged and would not let them do their work, so I got in my car and drove a couple hours to see what I could do to help. I asked what had happened and what I could do to help. The man started crying and told me that his best friend had a heart attack and drove his car into the house. (NO ONE HAD ASKED HIM!)

After offering a little compassion and empathy the situation was resolved. This led me to a career in Senior Living and then Healthcare. I wanted to bring compassion into our industry. In 2012 I found myself working with another contractor and learning the commercial side of the business. I’ve always loved helping people learn, and I have mentored other people from different businesses (even engineering companies) and helped them learn the industry. My passion is teaching, helping and growing small businesses. I am blessed to live my passion!
